However, what if on the eve of the holiday, instead, it's replaced by mud and slush, which completely ruins the New Year's spirit and makes the rest of the holiday paraphernalia seem irritating and pretentious? So, nine-year-old Slavik, who's going with his parents to his grandmother's to celebrate the New Year, can't live without snow. But while watching his grandmother's television, he stumbles upon a program about the ocean depths, where amazing, beautiful creatures live, resembling Christmas decorations, and they just happen to have snow for the New Year. And Slavik is about to discover just how special deep-sea snow is.
