A grown-up Masha decides to arrange a personal life for her father, Misha, which leads to a fight with her father, who pries into matters that don't concern her. Masha, upset with her father, runs away into the forest and ends up with a little bear cub whose parents were kidnapped by poachers. Masha's adventures begin, during which she realizes how difficult it is to be a parent, and most importantly, how difficult it is to raise children.
