Steven M. Rales is an American businessman, film producer, and chairman of Danaher Corporation. In 2018 Forbes listed him as the 88th richest person in America, with a net worth of $6.2 billion. Rales owns the production company Indian Paintbrush, which has funded The Darjeeling Limited (2007), and Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009). The company was also involved in Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2011), Moonrise Kingdom (2012), Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012), Labor Day (2013), The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015), and Isle of Dogs (2018). Indian Paintbrush has a long term deal with Fox Searchlight Pictures.
