Hailing from Lucban, Quezon, Rosauro Q. Dela Cruz, also known by his nickname "Uro", was a writer and director for film and television. He wrote numerous screenplays, including "Scorpio Nights", "Virgin Forest", "Unfaithful Wife", and "Once Upon a Time". He also served as a director for numerous films (including the ones he wrote), including "Bahay ni Lola". He also served as the director of "Bubble Gang", GMA Network's longest-running sketch comedy programme, from its inception on 20 October 1995 until he died on 4 February 2016.
