Pavel Hobl was born on 20 June 1935 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. He was a director and writer, known for Fantazie pro levou ruku a lidske svedomi (1961), The Lost Face (1965) and Der lange, stille Weg (1987). He died on 20 May 2007 in Prague, Czech Republic.
