Hasan Karacadağ
Hasan Karacadağ is a Turkish filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer best known for creating the Dabbe (D@bbe) horror franchise. Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of modern Turkish horror, he helped popularize Islamic supernatural themes in cinema, drawing on djinn folklore, possession, and black magic to create a distinctly Turkish style of horror. His films, particularly the later Dabbe entries, earned an international cult following through streaming platforms and introduced global audiences to Turkish found footage horror.
