Jonathan Schwartz is a Vice President of Production and Development and Producer at Marvel Studios. As a member of Marvel Studios’ Parliament, he helps guide the overall direction of the studio’s film and streaming projects. A longtime studio member since 2008, Schwartz has played a key role in shaping the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Schwartz began his Marvel career as Kevin Feige’s assistant, working on early MCU titles like Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger, before rising to the creative executive role on Marvel’s The Avengers. He was instrumental in launching the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, serving as co-producer on the original film and executive producer on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. His credits also include executive producing the global hit Captain Marvel and producing Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings alongside Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Schwartz served as executive producer on the Disney+ series Secret Invasion and oversaw the Wonder Man Disney+ TV series.
