Dominique CHILA (1974, Montreal) studied photography before setting her sights on film. After completing her Bachelor’s in Film Production at Concordia University in 2000, she began a two-year residency at the Le Fresnoy - Studio National des Arts Contemporains in France. Since returning to Montreal in 2003, Chila has worked closely with Samer Najari in creating a number of short films. Arwad (2013) is her first feature-length film and is co-directed by Najari.
