Giorgos Roussos (Greek: Γιώργος Ρούσσος, 1910-7 August 1984) was a Greek journalist and writer. He was born in Antiparos and studied law at the University of Athens. He worked as a journalist for the newspapers Eleftheron Vima, Athinika Nea, Foni tou Laou, etc. He was editor-in-chief of the newspaper Ta Nea and director of the magazine Tachydromos. He also collaborated with the National Broadcasting Foundation. In parallel with his career in the press, he was involved in writing novels and plays, many of which achieved great commercial success and were adapted for television and radio. His wife was the actress Kaiti Lambropoulou.
