Since 1974, he worked as an artist in "Georgian Film" cartoon group. As a stage artist, he took part in the creation of paintings and puppetry. In 1975, he switched to directing, directed the first Georgian application films, author's films, and full-length animated films. He also participated as a stage artist in documentary films.
