Yılmaz Duru (8 August 1929, Adana - 2 March 2010, Istanbul ) was a Turkish actor, producer, director, screenwriter and dancer. Duru, who started his art career in 1944 with the operetta "The Voice", started acting in 1954 after working as a professional dancer for a while. He married Nilüfer Aydan . He went to America and taught dance. He received training in cinema and television there and after returning to Turkey, he founded a company called Tura Film and started directing and producing. He worked with Soviet film producers. He wrote scripts. He composed music for three films in his art life.
