Anindya Bose

A Comparative Literature student, Anindya Bose began writing songs while he was still studying and soon went on to bring about a drastic change in Bengali cinema. A musician, singer, and screenwriter, Anindya formed the band Parash Pathar in the 1990s along with Ayan Banerjee and Kingshuk Chakraborty, where he was the lead singer and lyricist. After a long association with the rock band, Aninya left the band and formed Shahor in 1998, which featured other artists such as Debashish Roy, Kishore Goswami, and Tirthankar Banerjee. Making his foray into the film industry, Anindya was associated with the 2012 movie Teen Yaari Katha as its writer, following which he wrote the screenplay of movies like Hawa Bodol, Jodi Love Dile Na Prane, and Force. Meanwhile, he also pursued his music career in the film industry and was a part of movies such as Byomkesh Bakshi, Aami Aar Amaar Girlfriends, Hercules, Open Tee Bioscope, Gobhir Gopan Brishti and Eta Amader Golpo.
