James Sweeney (born June 8, 1990) is an American film actor, writer and director. He grew up in a small town in Alaska and got hired as a production assistant on the reality show Sarah Palin's Alaska which ran from 2010-2011. After that, he attended film school at Chapman University. He has written, produced, directed and starred in the comedy-dramas Straight Up (2019) and Twinless (2025).
