A firm disliker in talking about himself in the third person, Carlos has worked as a cinematographer and producer for over 15 years. During this time, he’s had the chance to work in all kinds of films, shooting lauded projects that include a Latin Grammy nomination or a Spanish Academy Goya Award. He’s gained some recognition himself in the process, with awards such as Best Cinematography for “Matador on the road” at Filmage Film Festival, or Best Director for “Subway” at NYC 2019 Winter Awards International Fim Festival. He also produced and shot the HBO documentary "Siempre, Luis" a 2020 Sundance premier. Carlos is based in New York but shooting has taken him all over, including all over the US, Japan, Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Norway, Brazil or Costa Rica.
