Chino Pinto is a graduate in Audiovisual Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He has built a distinguished film career as an editor, working on various feature films and short films that have won awards at numerous festivals. His editing credits include titles such as “Perro Guardián” (2014), “La Revolución y la Tierra” (2019)—the most-watched documentary in Peruvian cinemas—and, most recently, “Chabuca” (2024), totaling over ten feature films. Now, with ‘In Between’, he makes his debut as a director and screenwriter. In this work, he explores his unique vision of storytelling, applying his editor’s perspective to play with time jumps, split screens, and a narrative as fragmented as life itself.
