Ruth Negga (born 1982) is an Ethiopian-Irish actress. For her portrayal of Mildred Loving in the 2016 biographical romantic drama “Loving”, Negga received several major nominations from the Academy Awards, British Academy Film Awards and the Golden Globe Awards, and won the Irish Film and Television Award for Best Actress. She has also appeared in the BBC mini-series Criminal Justice, E4's Misfits, and the AMC series Preacher.
