Nia DaCosta (born November 8, 1989) is an American screenwriter and director. She is known for her breakout film "Little Woods" (2018), the supernatural horror legacy sequel "Candyman" (2021), and the MCU superhero film "The Marvels" (2023), which continues the stories of characters introduced in the film "Captain Marvel" and the Disney+ shows "WandaVision" and "Ms. Marvel."
