Spencer Glassman exists at the intersection of grumpy middle-aged Jewish man and Zillennial musical theatre girly, resulting in comedy that makes neurosis sparkle. Working across film, stand-up, sketch, musical comedy (to the audience’s chagrin), and improv, Glassman gravitates toward unself-aware, overly emotional characters—a rebellion against being socialized to fear appearing unrefined, chaotic, or needy. She has dazzled audiences across North America, with credits including JFL Toronto, Don't Tell Comedy, Toronto and Montreal Sketch Festivals, Spotlight at Second City and the Fun and Dumb Improv Festival at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective. Her film work has screened at festivals including BFI Future Film, Inside Out, and Telefilm’s Not Short On Talent at Clermont-Ferrand. Her original one-woman shows have played to sold-out audiences in Toronto, New York, and Montreal, while her online videos have amassed over 9 million views across Instagram, Youtube and TikTok. She's represented by 3Arts Entertainment.
