Born in Kazakhstan in 1989, a screenwriter and director. Zaka Abdrakhmanova graduated from the School of Documentary Film and Theater of M. Razbezhkina and M. Ugarov. She wrote the screenplay for the TV series My Mother′s Penguins and directed TV documentaries such as Tangerines (2019) and Jubilee Year (2019). Dad Croaked on Saturday is the director’s debut feature fiction film.
