Alec Carlos is a Winnipeg-based actor, filmmaker, writer, and musician. His most recent work includes starring in and being featured on the soundtrack with his band OpenTAB in the AMC+/Shudder Original Movie, Elevator Game (2023), as well as appearing in Amazon Prime's Tales from the Loop (2020), Paramount's Orphan: First Kill (2022), and the upcoming TV series Safehaven (2024). As a writer, he is on the writing team for the TV sitcom, Maria and the Mennos (2023). Alec has also been awarded UWPG Film Festival's Best Performance in a Leading Role as well as Best Canadian Film in 2021 for the short film In a Moment's Notice (2021), which he wrote, directed, and starred in.
