Michael C. Williams is an American actor, writer, and producer best known for playing “Mike” in The Blair Witch Project, one of the most influential found footage films ever made. A graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a background in theater, Williams became closely associated with the rise of modern found footage horror through his naturalistic performance style and improvised work in the landmark indie film. Following Blair Witch, Williams appeared in genre films including Altered, The Objective, and Ghost Game, while remaining an enduring figure within the horror community and convention circuit.
