Emi Martinez-Zalce is a Mexican-Canadian writer, director and actress who aims to challenge stereotypes surrounding gender, sexuality and mental health in her feminist work that delves into the interconnectedness within our lives, illuminating the profound influence relationships and others wield in shaping our identities. She is the founder of Something Great Films, an independant production company and best known for acting in, writing and directing the feature length fan film The Outstanding Spider-Man.
