Rafael Martínez Sánchez is a Mexican film director, writer and actor. He majored in communications at Universidad Intercontinental. His short films, also written, produced and edited by him, have been selected for festivals like San Diego Latino Film Festival, Shorts Mexico, Macabro, Shanghai Queer Film Festival, Tequila International Film Festival and the New Dheli International Film Festival. As an actor, he has starred in more than 20 short films and in two feature films as the leading character. His first feature film as a director: "A Lake", is an Estacato, Benuca Films and Sopa de Piedra coproduction.
