Josh Van Ulric Campo is a filmmaker from Quezon City who embraces cinema as an unbounded medium for expressing his visions and narratives in free-spirited, sometimes absurd, and highly creative ways. He consistently strives to experiment with forms and styles, challenging traditional conventions in film while maintaining a clear artistic sensibility. He has directed the short films Mind Body (2023), All the Things Left Unsaid (2023), and I Can’t Make You Love Me (2024). These films have been showcased at notable film festivals and have received multiple accolades, including recognition from the CCP Gawad Alternatibo Film Festival, the Pinoy Rebyu Awards by the Society of Filipino Film Reviewers, the Binisaya International Film Festival, and the Ngilngig Asian Fantastic Film Festival, among others. His works often explore human emotions, memories, and perceptions depicted figuratively and imaginatively.
