Ahmed Khaled

Egyptian writer, director, and visual artist. He was born on April 1, 1979. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Helwan University in 2001, where he specialized in oil painting. He participated in a large number of art exhibitions, where he won a large number of awards, including the Jury Prize at the Youth Salon. In drawing, he received the first drawing award from Helwan University and the photography award at the Youth Salon. Then he went to work in cinema, where he specialized in directing documentaries and commercial advertisements. His first short film was (The Fifth Pound) in 2005, and he followed it with the film (Fish Eye) in 2007. For which he won the Shadi Abdel Salam Award as Best Director for a First Work at the National Egyptian Film Festival in 2008. He also wrote and directed the series (Doors of Fear) in 2011.
