Joshua Francisco Mitchell is an English filmmaker, best known for his independent directing, especially with micro-budget projects. He has created multiple award-winning short films, all with a common style of realism accentuated with comedy. The most recent of which are the award winning ‘The Slip Up (2026)’ and 'Bingo (2026)'. Previous shorts (‘Over-Kneaded’, ‘A Helping Hand’) are available to view on the CrocodileTears.uk website. These were also written and produced by Joshua. He is driven by character and choice, believing that action requires repercussion. It’s through this methodology that he creates realistic characters that drive the story with a building sense of tension.
