John Hamill was born on May 3, 1947 in Hammersmith, London, England, UK. He is an actor and director, known for Doing the Best I Can (1974), The Over-Amorous Artist (1974) and Doctor Who (1963). He was one of England's most popular "physique models" in the late 1960s. He left acting in the late seventies after being unable to financially support himself. He went on to run a Pine Furnisher shop.
