Shane Hernandez was born in Irvine, and raised Fountain Valley, California. He started his passion for filmmaking in Baron Broadcast News (BBN) at Fountain Valley High School. He went on to make two short films, The Unlucky Rabbit, and Meadowhawk at Loyola Marymount University.
