Owen Gudex

Owen Gudex is an aspiring and rising composer for film, television, and video games. He is most notably known for his work on the popular Plot Coalition fan-film, For Liberty! A Helldivers Film, which earned him recognition from HELLDIVERS 2 composer Wilbert Roget, II, and HELLDIVERS composer Johan Lindgren. Some of his other works include collaborations with 4:3 Films, scoring shorts such as Spider-Man: Celebration, the unreleased Death by a Thousand Cuts, and the upcoming Beware the Batman saga. Evolving from his love for theatre, Owen started composing for plays, including First Stage Milwaukee's summer 2025 production of Romeo & Juliet and Homestead High School's fall 2024 production of The Crucible. He has been tapped to write music for First Stage's spring 2026 production of the Shakespeare tragedy of Julius Caesar. Starting out, Owen made his own short films just to write music for them. He is the co-creator of the Gold-Verse Expanded Universe, a cinematic universe under his indie film studio, named Gold-Verse Studios. His directorial contributions include The Invisible Touch 2: Double Click (2019), Spider-Man: Home Alone (2020), Anxiety: Fowl Play (2020), Spirit Hunter (2020), Loose Ends (2021), The Godfather Effect (2023), Santa Claws: An Invisible Touch Holiday Special (2024) and Cult of the Shadow Stalker (2025). His upcoming productions include Robo-Knight (2026), DI(E) (2027), Spirit Hunter: White Ghost (2027), and The Crucible (2029), as director. Other future involvements include The Invisible Touch 3: Triple Click (2029), Spirit Hunter 3 (TBA), The Grid (TBA), and The Invisible Touch: Genesis (TBA). As for acting, his most notable roles stem from productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream (2025), Oklahoma! (2024), The Crucible (2024), and Pride & Prejudice (2024), where he played Nick Bottom, Will Parker, Giles Corey, and Charles Bingley. Currently, he's set to direct a college production of tick, tick... BOOM! (2026). Within his own films, he's played the role of Robert Weiss, a character featured in the Gold-Verse Expanded Universe with Anxiety: Fowl Play (2020). His most recent self-composition stems from Cult of the Shadow Stalker (2025), a prequel to Owen's first film, The Invisible Touch 2: Double Click (2019). In his last years of high school, Owen showcased live performances of pieces including Alex, Divided Love, Beyond, The Woman in Red, and The High Design. He now attends Berklee College of Music, where he's currently written and performed an arrangement of Andrew Lloyd Webber's title song from The Phantom of the Opera.
