Christopher McDonald

Christopher McDonald is an Emmy-winning television producer, and also an actor and writer. Christopher has booked, produced and written for an array of programming including late-night television, cable news and comedy sketch shows. Christopher helped launch "The Kelly Clarkson Show" (NBC), "The Arsenio Hall Show" (CBS/Tribune), "Tavis Smiley" (PBS), "It's Not You, It's Men w/ Tyrese & Rev Run" (OWN), "Impact Theory w/ Tom Bilyeu" & "Women of Impact w/ Lisa Bilyeu" (YouTube/Itunes), "The Demi Lovato Show" (Roku/Quibi) and "Post Malone's Worldwide Celebrity Pong League" (Facebook). Christopher also stars in James Gunn's "Superman" (2025) as Daily Planet reporter Ron Troupe. Having been raised as an "army brat," Christopher traveled the world and lived in numerous countries, which helped him develop an affinity for world music and journalism. He received a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast journalism at Boston's Emerson College, and he began his professional career at the Los Angeles CNN bureau.
