Fotis Petridis has worked as a theatrical director and drama teacher in addition to his primary career as an actor. His involvement in these areas often centers on community and municipal theatre initiatives in Greece, where he has directed productions and instructed participants, particularly in youth-oriented and adult-oriented groups. He has been associated with the Theatre Group of the Municipality of Glyfada, where he has taken on directing roles for various performances and led an adolescent theatre group in Glyfada primary school that stages productions for young performers. This educational and directorial activity allows his to contribute to local cultural events and festivals, including recognition for his support and contributions as both actor and director in amateur theatre contexts. His theatre direction and teaching complement his long-standing acting experience, extending his influence in Greek performing arts at the community level. Since 2018, he has been leading the Glyfada theater group "Oi Eteroklitoi".
