Tony Zhou is an Auckland, New Zealand-born actor known for playing coming-of-age, eccentric, boyish, and unhinged characters in both drama and comedy, with roles in television series such as The Eggplant (2020), Shortland Street (2024) and Camp Be Better (2024), as well as in the comedy feature film The Red Admiral (2025). Tony has also played leading roles in internationally acclaimed short films, including Cherry (2022) and Illuminati Castrati (2024). Outside of film, Tony has developed his range in theatre, performing as Tigger in the Winnie-the-Pooh stage production and as Mercedes the Drag Queen in the La Cage aux Folles musical. Represented by RBA Management (formerly The Robert Bruce Agency) in Australia and New Zealand, Tony is also known for being nearly bilingual in English and Mandarin.
