Anya Narendra (born February 6, 2003), is a Canadian-born filmmaker. She holds a BAH in Psychology and Film & Media at Queen's University, and is best known for her directorial debut, Malice (2026). Featuring life-sized puppets and a world built entirely by hand from cardboard, paper, and jute twine, Malice reflects her passion for practical artistry and thoughtful, visually distinctive filmmaking. Anya's creative work is driven by an interest in handcrafted storytelling, emotional introspection, and stories that explore the human condition.
