Manuel García Ferré (1929-2013) was an Argentine comic writer and animator. He is Argentina's most renowned animator from the second half of the 20th century. He created dozens of characters that are now part of the country's cultural heritage. His productions were featured in comic strips, TV shows, music records and movies.
