Jaroslav Mach was born on 24 April 1921 in Zahnasovice u Holesova, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was a director and writer, known for Nahá pastýrka (1966), Klec pro dva (1968) and Jeste svatba nebyla (1954). He died on 11 January 1972 in Prague, Czechoslovakia.
