Shortparis

Shortparis is an avant-garde musical collective formed in Saint Petersburg in 2012. The band blends post-punk, electronic, and industrial music with theatrical performances that challenge societal norms. Their visually cryptic music videos and live performances- laced with surreal symbolism and historical allusions have sparked both acclaim and controversy. The main members include Nikolay Komyagin (vocals), whose androgynous appearance and intense stage presence anchor their live shows, alongside Aleksandr Ionin (guitar), Aleksandr Galianov (keyboards), Danila Kholodkov (bass), and Pavel Lesnikov (drums).
