Boris Grachevskiy

Boris Grachevsky was born on March 18, 1949 in the Ramensky district of the Moscow region, in the rest house "Polushkino", in a creative family, at the age of 6 he went to the stage with his father, at 10 he staged the first dance, at 11 - a New Year matinee. He graduated from the Kaliningrad Mechanical College at the plant of SP Koroleva (Moscow region), where he received a specialty turner. He worked as a turner, then as a design engineer at the Korolev factory. In 1968 he served in the army. After serving in the army he got a job as a loader at the Gorky film studio. In 1969 he entered the correspondence department of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography with a degree in film production organization, he graduated 23 years later. He worked as an administrator in the paintings of Alexander Row, Mark Donskoy, Vasily Shukshin. At the film studio was a senior administrator, deputy director of the crew. In 1975, in his own version, together with the playwright Alexander Khmelik, he founded the children's newsreel “Yeralash”. The creator of documentary films, the author of the project "Social Advertising". In 2008-2009, he shot his first full-length feature film, The Roof, which appeared on screens in September 2009. Since 2009, he has repeatedly been the chairman of the jury of "Video Battles". In the same year he made his debut with the full-length directorial debut - the film "Roof". Since 2013 she has been participating in charity projects for children with disabilities of the International Art Center Margarita Mayskaya “Art-Iso-Center”. In July 2014, Grachevsky, as a director, began the production of the dramatic film “Between Music, or Tantric Symphony” about the late love of a world-famous composer and a young girl from the provinces. The main roles were played by Andrei Ilyin and Yanina Melekhova. The author of the collection of humorous sayings "Idiocy". Since 2017 - member of the jury of children's KVN on the TV channel "Carousel".
