Newt Zonifay is a director, editor, actor, and filmmaker whose work comes from a lifelong passion for cinema. Raised in Dallas, Texas, Newt began making films as a kid and has spent every year since sharpening a personal, hands-on approach to storytelling. Making at least a short film every year. Over the years, Newt has created several short films, developing a signature style working across directing, editing, and performance, shaping stories from concept to final cut. With multiple projects already completed, Newt is now developing a slate of larger films. These upcoming works aim to expand on a cinematic depth with a efficient but sincere emotion reflecting a filmmaker growing in scope while staying rooted in the DIY creativity that sparked everything. Newt continues to build a body of work defined by imagination, persistence, and a deep love of movies.
