Yvonne Furneaux (born Elisabeth Yvonne Scarcherd on May 11, 1926, in Roubaix, France) was a French film actress who gained international recognition throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Known for her striking presence and dramatic versatility, she starred in a range of films across Europe, including iconic roles in Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita and Roman Polanski’s Repulsion. Her career spanned over three decades with 38 credited performances in both cinema and television.
