Marcos Iván Vilchez Ruiz
Marcos Iván Vilchez Ruiz, also known as Daz Zuvr, is a Nicaraguan polymath who excels as a musician, physicist, mathematician, quantum biology researcher, and author. In the creative field, he is the founder and CEO of Nicánima Estudios and the founder, guitarist, and vocalist of the rock band TheVeilers. He holds a degree in Physics and Mathematics from the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN-Managua). During his studies, he won first place in the Carlos Martínez Rivas Academic Competition. Since 2024, he has been a professor at the Estelí Regional University Center (CUR-Estelí). As a researcher, he is a member of the Delfin Program. His work in computing and artificial intelligence began in 2017. He won first place in both the National Innovation Rally and the Nicaragua Hackathon for his projects focused on the automatic detection of sign language in real time. His scientific work focuses on microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). His technical research has been published in various science and technology journals. He has also collaborated on technical simulations for the design of components for lunar exploration vehicles. Audiovisual production and music: He is the founder and director of Nicanima Estudios, an audiovisual production company where he directs the animated series Agüizotes, which adapts Nicaraguan history and mysticism to digital formats. In music, he is the guitarist for the rock band TheVeilers, associated with the urban narrative project Welcome to Ghosttown.
