Gillian Berrie is a Scottish film producer and co-founder of Sigma Films, established in 1996 with director David Mackenzie. She has produced and co-produced numerous feature films, including Hallam Foe, Young Adam, Perfect Sense, Starred Up, Outlaw King, Dear Frankie and Under the Skin, and was involved in the Oscar campaign for Hell or High Water. She also executive produced episodes of the television series Under the Banner of Heaven and worked on the film Tetris. Beyond producing, Berrie founded Film City Glasgow in 2004 and has been involved in several initiatives supporting emerging filmmakers in Scotland, including Jumpcut and Short Circuit. She received the BAFTA Scotland Outstanding Achievement Award in 2002 and an honorary doctorate from the University of the West of Scotland in 2014 for her contribution to film and the arts.
