Juan Carlos Rulfo (Mexico City, January 24, 1964) is a Mexican filmmaker. Heir to the tradition of his father Juan Rulfo, Juan Carlos has been able to translate into cinematographic narrative the rural Mexican atmospheres that his father enshrined in his literature and at the same time forge a career for himself that has taken him out of his father's shadow to demonstrate his talent.
