A strange metamorphosis occurred with Boris Fadeev, an operative from the Moscow Department of Internal Affairs. He has alcohol problems, depression, and a difficult family situation. A quiet fighter against police paperwork, whose main task was to shift responsibility from himself to others and do nothing, is transformed beyond recognition.
