Three men at a crossroads. At age 42, fighter pilots Venske, Kellermann, and Glöckler are forced to retire due to age limits. They struggle to adjust to their new civilian lives. So a daring plan takes shape: the trio intends to rob the ticket booth at an air show expected to draw 400,000 visitors. To be on the safe side, they hire a lock-picking expert: Laux. His life is also at a dead end. And he’s suspicious—especially when the trio decides to hide the loot for two years.
